Spring 2016 and it's all about Floral Prints May 04, 2016 00:32

Spring is here and floral prints are back!

But don't let them get predictable or stuck in a rut.  So shake it up!  Don't rehash last years foliage fashion - try something with more attitude and zing!

Here are some great ideas for updating your spring floral look.

  1. Update that floral skirt or printed trousers with a blouse that has a sheer layer.  Or go all out and find a dress that has sheer elements.  Find a dress with a texture that complements the floral feel - like this lovely water colour fit flare dress.
  2. Opt for a darker tone for your floral interpretation - like this bird and floral box pleat dress in black.  Or team your floral with leather over lace, for that Alexander McQueen look.
  3. Find accessories with a 3D flower or decoration detail.  This can be a brooch, edging on a neckline, or a scarf.

This year florals are being interpreted in so many different colour palettes and fabrications - find something that you love and make it part of your style.

Use the Browse in the top right of our product catalog and select "floral" for our interpretation this season and you will surely find that Spring essential in a print and palette you will enjoy wearing.

Nota Bene: For those who don't have an affinity for floral prints, soft water colour abstracts are a great alternative.
